Evelyn Newhouse

I have lived in Alaska most of life but started out in Germany. I immigrated to the United States as a child and have always managed to merge my German and American cultures in my home. I have worked in the field of Architecture and Engineering in Anchorage for the past 15 years, but decided it was time for a change and am pursuing a degree as a German teacher. I am not sure that teaching will be actual work, because if you love what you do you will never work another day in your life. I am ready for the next step and am looking forward to sharing my German culture and how we have translated it into our family with students.
